On Memorial Day we are reminded of the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for the United States of America. In honor of those we have lost, we are closing all TACO offices and warehouses in observance of Memorial Day on Monday, May 31, 2021. Regular business operations will resume on Tuesday, June 1st.
Memorial Day weekend is also known to be the unofficial commencement of summer and the boating season.
At TACO, we want to remind everyone boating this weekend to enjoy their time with their families and friends and to be safe on the water.
Remember to have the following items when practicing safe boating:
- First Aid Kit
- Life Jackets – each child should always be wearing a life jacket, but also keep one per person on the boat
- Air Horn or Whistle
- Throwable Device
- Fire Extinguisher 1 per engine
- Signaling Device, such as flares
- Sun protection – sunblock, polarized sunglasses, hat and fishing shirt with SPF
