We are excited to announce the addition of Blake Garrett as the Shipping Manager to our team in Sparta, Tennessee!
Garrett, a Tennessee native, brings a wealth of shipping knowledge and expertise to his role at TACO, with experience working for a worldwide shipping company, a sporting goods distribution center and serving as a Reverse Logistics Supervisor.
At TACO, Garrett’s ultimate goal is to ensure the needs and expectations of customers are met.
“I’m always throughout our warehouse getting feedback and checking with our employees on how we can make things better and where we stand on getting the day’s goals accomplished,” said Garrett, a diehard University of Tennessee fan. “The goal I have for my team is for us to be caught up on backorders and start picking future shipments by the end of the summer.”
A mantra he lives by, he recently stated, is that he believes you control what you can control, and to always stay true to yourself. Additionally, since joining team TACO, Garrett said everyone maintains a positive attitude and has been helpful during his transition.
When he’s not at TACO, Garrett can be found enjoying the outdoors with his wife and son – camping, boating, fishing, hiking and playing sports.
