Is the set screw required? I noticed you did not mention it during the install video. What weight class rod/reel max will these hold/recommended for(50/80W class reels)?

Dana thank you for the reply! Will the set screw damage the existing rail? Is there anything recommended to prevent scratching when using the set screw?
