At TACO, we developed our patented line of Ball & Socket Top Fittings to reduce rattling and noise from Bimini slide top hardware.
Our line of Ball & Socket Fittings was designed so one person could easily mount and setup a Bimini top on a boat. Additionally, the ball ends on the Bimini top frame help keep the Bimini fittings from cutting into upholstery when the top is being mounted.
Because it's natural for Bimini tops to flex and rack, our Ball & Socket Fittings are designed to have 10º to 15º of side-to-side rotation.
In addition to Bimini tops, our Ball & Socket Fittings can be used for aft and fore shades, ski arch Biminis, convertible tops, dodgers, support poles and many more applications.

I assume you have to take the digits out of the end pieces to slide everything off to install it?
Or maybe you might have just the inserts that are worn out instead of a total replacement?
Also, are they rivited in place after replacement with ones you might supply?
Thanks for your help
