Hinge Terminology
- Cutting – Continuous hinges can be cut to exact lengths required. Hinges should be cut to multiples of knuckle lengths to eliminate partial knuckles.
- Perforating – TACO Marine can customize the type and hole diameter, hole center, edge, end dimensions and staggering or in-line.
- Forming – Hinge leaves can be formed in a variety of configurations based on your specifications from centerline of pin to inside of form or edge of leaf.
- Swagging – TACO Marine can form one or both leaves toward or beyond the center of the pin.
- Finish – Painting is available on all hinges Anodized is available for aluminum; polishing and sanding are available for stainless steel.
